The egg hair mask is known to be one of the most effective masks in growing hair due to the substantial amount of protein in eggs. This abundant amount of protein helps our hair grow faster than it’s ever grown. Eggs are so strong for your scalp that it will generate growth within the span of one day. Instructions: Whisk 1-2 eggs (I use 2 eggs due to my long hair length)  Add 3 tbsp of a thick/base oil for moisture & balance. (Olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, castor oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, pumpkin seed oil, etc) Mix the ingredients together to create a balanced hair mask. Apply the hair mask onto your scalp and massage the solution into your roots (part hair and bend over hair to apply everywhere). Apply to rest to the ends of your hair for moisture. Put hair into bun and under a shower cap to seal the mask. Critical: Leave the mask on just for 20 minutes (The thing about this mask is that… View Post

I could say that right now, my hair has become a lot healthier than it was before. Here are a couple of my hair care essentials and secrets to how I saved my hair from the disaster it was in. OILS Once I introduced essential oils to my haircare routine, it changed my hair’s life and I’m not just saying that. Oils helped me regain the health within my hair again. Oils are great for growing hair, moisturizing hair, styling hair, and preventing hair loss & breakage. Oils are a multi-purpose hair lifesaver and I would recommend everyone to incorporate some type of oil into there haircare routine. Oils that I personally use frequently on my hair are the following: Coconut oil, castor oil, olive oil, avocado oil, lavender essential oils, and rosemary essential oils. Other oils that are also beneficial for moisturizing & growing hair faster are peppermint & pumpkin seed essential oils which I’ve been meaning to get my… View Post

Hair Hack 1: Straightening Hair Overnight Without Heat Slip your hair behind your back (make sure its brushed out) and sleep on your hair to wake up to straighter hair! I use this hack after I take a shower and the thing about this hack is that it won’t give you stick straight hair, but will straighten your hair enough, get rid of frizz, and will appear longer. This is a hack that has saved my hair’s health away from the iron so skip the straightener, and choose this hack instead.  Hair Hack 2: The World’s Greatest Hair Band Regular hair bands always break on me, and scrunchies may be gentle and unbreakable, but don’t hold my hair in place, or up right. Which is why I have discovered the world’s greatest hair band in my mom’s drawer! SOCKS! And I’m not talking about just any ordinary sock, I’m talking about the nylon socks your grandma wears. I cut the top part of the socks to only create the most durable, stretchable, and unbreakable hair band! It holds my hair in place while also being gentle and not too tight. If you don’t want to waste the socks by cutting the top part, you… View Post

If you’re serious on having beautiful, long, damage-free hair, you have to be serious about getting rid of some habits, and adapting new ones! YOUR HAIR BRUSH MATTERS I only use wooden brushes over plastic/metal brushes because wooden brushes distribute the oils within your hair and help balance a shiny/glossy look. Additional benefits of owning a wooden brush will help get rid of dandruff and the static within your hair. SCALP TREATMENTS ARE A MUST Your scalp does all the work in trying to stimulate growth within your hair, so if you want to give it a boost of encouragement and help speed up the process, try a natural scalp treatment. I personally use the The Innate Life‘s Scalp Treatment since it contains more than 15 botanicals and plant-based oils which all help to grow, hydrate, and repair hair. I prefer The Innate Life… View Post
