VITAMINS

Hair is one of the fastest growing tissues in the human body which is why we need to give vitamins to feed those cells to help boost tissue production, therefore, helping to grow and rejuvenate our hair, skin, and nails. Vitamins such as Biotin, Iron, Zinc, along with Vitamins A, C, D, and E!

A little background information on each of these helpful vitamins:

Biotin: One of the most well-known vitamins for boosting hair growth due to its abilities of spreading oxygen and nutrients to the scalp helping to encourage hair growth and prevent baldness.

Iron: This carries oxygen to our blood cells and a lack of iron in our bodies is one of the biggest causes to hairloss and baldness.

Zinc: Helps repair hair tissue and stimulates growth to the scalp.

Vitamin A: One of the most important vitamins for a healthy body. Vitamin A feeds those cells primarily for boosting fast hair growth!

Vitamin C: Antioxidant vitamin that protects and helps produce collagen which is one of the most important parts of helping to grow our hair, skin, and nails.

Vitamin D: Natural sunlight exposure gives Vitamin D so if you live in an area that is mostly sunny, you don’t have to pay too much attention to this vitamin. It’s not known that vitamin D helps grow hair, however, a lack of Vitamin D in the body leads to great hair fall.

Vitamin E: Another very well-known vitamin in helping to promote hair growth is Vitamin E due to it’s abilities of preventing stress which helps our organs work properly leading to longer & thicker hair.

I personally take Vitamin D (due to the lack of sun in Seattle) & Vitamin C everyday because not only is it effective for growing hair faster but is also beneficial for adapting a healthy and strong immune system. Don’t go overboard with having too many vitamins, but try to incorporate a couple of these into your daily routine.

BALAYAM TECHNIQUE

The “Balayam” technique is performed by rubbing your nails together for 5-10 minutes a day.

I have to admit that this technique isn’t proven to work, however, many men and women have explained that this made their scalp feel tingly, and helped grow their hair faster!

I haven’t tried this technique personally, but many people have explained that it miraculously helped them!

BE GENTLY

What does this mean exactly? Well, I see so many people mistreat their hair by brushing vigorously which causes more hair fall, or when people continuously dye their hair (this will also cause more hair loss and thinning) or even when people who yank out their hair bands will cause damage and loss of strength to hair strands. All of this may seem unimportant in promoting hair growth, but it can delay your normal hair growth and will prevent healthy, strong and beautiful hair in the long-run.

TAKE LESS SHOWERS

Instead of taking hair showers everyday, take body showers everyday and hair showers 2-3 times a week. And the reason for your multiple showers is probably because your hair gets greasy within the next day. Completely understandable, but then again, that’s only because you have trained your hair to get greasy faster since your scalp has adapted to being washed everyday. So many people think I’m disgusting for taking hair showers once a week, but it has taken me months to train my hair to get greasy later! To be honest, I take a lot of pride and credit for being able to take hair showers only once a week since it is truly beneficial for hair growth!

My tips on how you can train your hair to get greasy later in the week and by taking less showers is by using dry shampoo! Dry shampoo is probably one of the most genius hair products out there since it’s helped train my hair! If you take showers everyday, try skipping today’s shower and using dry shampoo and then taking a shower the next day and continuing with this process of taking showers every other day. Then after you feel like you don’t need to use dry shampoo, try this process without it for a week. Now that your hair has become used to being washed every other day, try going two days without washing hair! Yikes! Sound disgusting yet? Well it won’t after your hair gets used to it! In fact, the average amount of showers people take is 3 times a week and your basically average now! But if you want to be a hippie like me, follow me in taking showers once a week!

Overall, the normal (non-excessive) amount of showers is around 2-3 times a week so taking less showers will help prevent dryness and damage within your hair along with allowing your scalp to breath which will lead to strong hair growth.

PATIENCE

Okay, I have to admit, this tip isn’t very unique, but it sure is effective! I get so many emails and messages from people who want advice on how to grow inches of hair in days to weeks! Now I have written blog posts on How To Grow Hair Faster In One Day, however, I didn’t say, you would grow 4 inches in the span of one day. I know it’s hard to be patient when you want to see results now, but patience is truly the key to fast hair growth especially for things like this that takes time. When you put too much attention into something and expect results immediately, you’re going to be let down.

I highly encourage you to measure your hair right now, and then wait a couple of weeks to measure it again to see the difference. If you measure your hair everyday, your just setting yourself up for disappointments.
