Weight Loss Guide For Lazy People

Welcome to my “Lazy Guide To Weight Loss”!

I myself am a very lazy person and have struggled to commit to a weight loss plan since it required more effort than I was willing to give. I figured out a way on how to lose weight without trying so hard so this is specifically geared towards my lazy folks out there.

Let’s start off with the most important step.

Water.

Water is going to be your best friend through this lazy journey of yours. It’s important for your body to consume more than two liters of water each day, but if you’re willing to lose weight, you’re going to have to take in more than just two liters. Go above and beyond and try drinking water throughout the whole day whenever you get the chance. This will lead to annoying bathroom breaks, but continuously drinking water throughout your day will boost your metabolism and will serve as a cleanse for your body and skin. Drinking water also prevents your body from retaining water which will help you lose a couple of pounds from the water weight!

Now if you’re someone who despises the boring taste of water, try adding some lemon, lime, cucumbers, and berries to your drink, but since I’m lazy, I skip this part.

Your second best friend but just as important as the first, are going to be Straws!

If you find yourself feeling forced to drink water, add a straw into your cup making it much easier for you to drink. You actually take in more water while using a straw rather than sipping out of a cup. Also, instead of having to keep refilling your cup, I recommend pouring water in a jug or huge cup.

This is also another worthy tip of losing weight. Try drinking water 30 minutes before every meal because in this case, water will serve as an appetite suppressant and you’ll find yourself feeling full faster.

Eating in a small bowl.

It is psychologically proven that eating in a smaller plate/bowl will trick your mind into thinking you are eating the same amount of food as you were before when in reality your portions reduced! Also, it doesn’t allow yourself to consume more food than our body needs because it’s important for you to eat the right amount of food instead of exceeding your bodies limit without noticing.

Exercise and laziness don’t go so well with each other, but with these tips, it’s more than possible! Stand while you’re working, studying, reading, watching TV or anything because standing burns calories while sitting stores them.

Do simple exercises while watching your favorite shows! I like to do 50 jumping jacks, 30 squats, 30 lunges, and 30 sit-ups while watching Grey’s Anatomy.

However, my all time favorite exercise is my form of a Dance Break.

In my opinion, Dancing in general, is the best way for losing weight because of the cardio. I like to listen to my favorite tunes while dancing my heart out in front of the mirror. I do this for about 10 minutes and feel like I went on a 30 minute run! It’s very effective and builds my energy so don’t do this at night if you’re planning on sleeping early.

Those are all my hacks and tips on losing weight for all the lazy people out there. These changes have worked for me, so I hope you discover that it’ll do the same for you.

And stay committed because true change happens overtime.
