How To Have a Good Hair Day Everyday!

Here’s How To Have a Good Hair Day Everyday!

perfect hair day

What does a good hair day look like? Ideal hair usually looks volumized, soft, shiny, and flowy.

Most people have said that their second day hair is when they have the best hair days. For me personally, I have the best hair the day after my shower. Most of the time, having good hair days are hard to come by these days especially with the weather and other attributes that can throw off our hair’s natural oils. That could probably be the reason why everyone has their best hair days when they’re at home.
It can definitely be achievable to have a good hair day even on a bad day.
Here are ways you can have a “good hair day”, everyday!

  • Volumizing Spray!
Dry shampoo can help volumize hair a ton. I personally use “Puff Me” by designmehair and it works perfectly in giving me that extra volume whenever my hair is feeling flat or deflated. Volumized hair will always give the impression of thicker hair which is the ideal look.
  • Brush Your Hair!
I think we can agree that we all look pretty scary in the morning with our puffy eyes, dull looking skin, and MESSY HAIR. Brushing your hair can be a real game changer. I like to take my brushes with me anytime I go out. I actually have a travel sized brush that I always take with me in my purse. It sounds crazy to some people but it’s normal to take your lipstick with you so why not a hair brush too? Brushing your hair (especially with a pure wooden brush) can help soften and detangle hair. This will INSTANTLY give you smooth, silky, and glossy looking hair which is what you want in order to have the best hair day!

  • Serum!
A bad hair day tends to look flat with a greasy scalp and frizzy ends. A good hair day is the complete opposite. You want your scalp to look more volumized and upright instead of flat along with your ends looking more hydrated instead of dead. So we know to use dry shampoo to volumize hair but what can we do to hydrate our dead ends? Hair serums are the perfect answer for this common problem! If you don’t have a hair care serum, you can always use carrier oils such as olive oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, argan oil, jojoba oil, grapeseed oil, pumpkinseed oil, and many other oils (Just use a small amount of these oils to apply to your hair). After using dry shampoo on your scalp, apply oils to the palm of your hands to nourish the ends of your gorgeous locks.
Here’s an extra tip that I’ve experienced to work great with getting rid of my frizziness. I like to put my hair into a bun or braid for about 30 minutes to an hour. Afterwards, I open my hair to find it looking silkier! This works to bring your hair more together and smooth instead of dry and frizzy.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) will give your hair LIFE!
This one is kinda weird to some people but if you include an ACV hair rinse in your shower routine, you will always have an amazing hair day afterwards. ACV contains Sebum pH which helps balance our hair’s pH levels! Our natural oils usually get disrupted by all the shampoo and styling tools we use on our hair which can result in more bad hair days! But ACV can help clarify our hair leading to a healthier scalp which is prominent in growing long & healthy hair. ACV also hydrates, detangles, de-frizzes, cleanses, and defines hair! I cannot live without using ACV on my hair because it is definitely an essential in my hair care routine.
